Land Acknowledgment: We will consistently recognize and acknowledge the traditional Unceded Anishinaabe Algonquin lands on which Nenaawateg is located. We commit to honoring the complex history and the enduring relationship of Indigenous peoples with these lands.

Active Participation: We will actively engage all Indigenous communities in decision-making processes, programming, and initiatives. We believe in the importance of Indigenous voices and perspectives in shaping the direction of Nenaawateg.

Respect for Cultural Practices: We commit to respecting and honoring traditional Indigenous customs, protocols, and ceremonies. We will strive to create a space where these practices can be freely and safely expressed and observed.
